I was sitting here, thinking and I was wondering does anyone really read my blogs. I don't write as much because I feel that no one really reads the thoughts that take place in my head. It's not like I share a lot in the first place. Do you believe a blog is a place where you can express your deep feelings, angers and happiness or is it really just a waist of time? If your out there and if your reading let me know.
thanks..
a inconsistent blogger..

I don't think blogging is a waste of time. I think people blog for different reasons...some use it as an online journal. Some use it as a chronicle of their children or spouse's lives. Some people write because they know they have an audience...etc. I write for me and I don't care who is reading. If some people ant to join me for the ride, they're more than welcome ;)
ReplyDeleteNope.. No one reads your blogs... lol
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess it depends on who your audience is and how often you blog... For me blogging allows me to say whatever I want to everyone.. I cut back on cursing (outloud, of course) so when I need to let a few fly, I turn to the blog... I blog when I need to cry, but don't feel like being burdend with the questions of "what's wrong" or "every thing's gonna be alright"... I blog when I want to make note of something that I may want to recall next week...month...year... I blog for me and me alone. Comments mean nothing to me... Readership means even less.... One day I'll have this blog (not yours, but mine) printed and bound and have a laugh at the emotinal rollercoaster I am too often on... (and the obvious spelling errors..lol).. So it goes back to the beginning...It depends on who your audince is & your personal purpose for blogging... By the Way I read your blogs & I look forward to it (even thoough they're only like once a season...)
Oh my gosh you guys like me!!! Well I have a new blog, but I will wait until I get home to write. thanks for your responses.
ReplyDeleteI read your blog (and others). It's a great way to really get to know what's going in someone life and their head. Plus it's entertaining!
ReplyDeleteAnd blogs are created for just what you stated. A safe place to share just about anything. (Things that are legal!) Most people are really able to convey their REAL feeling only in writing. Sometimes we can't muster up words to say but with a pen or keyboard, can go for hours. It's also a wonderful way to document events, pictures, stuff that you can look back on in years to come.
I encourage you to blog for you and your family. Once you begin to do it on a regular basis (NOT on facebook), you'll experience the freedom with it. You'll experience the weight lifted off your shoulders, and maybe a spiritual awakening. Jesus speaks through blogs! Let Him use you!
Tynisha you are so right and I just blogged about facebook and I will challenge myself to blog more often..
